This section of our site is aimed at providing useful information to professional musicians that we believe is likely to be of value in helping them to further their goals and careers. Australian Songwriters & Composers - Would You like a Showcase Gig in Los Angeles or New York?
These showcase give artists the opportunity to perform for managers, publishers, publicists, record executives, fellow musicians & actors, & lovers of Australian Music in the L.A & New York communities. The nights present a great networking opportunity for any artist wanting to help build their profile in the huge American market. The nights have been running for 18 months or so; a couple of notable names that stand out amongst the many artists who have taken advantage of this opportunity are Tex Perkins and Cameron Daddo. All genres are accepted but songs must be able to be played acoustically, be it with guitar or piano. The 'Oz City Song Circle' is supported by: The Australian Government's Australian Music Office, The Australasian Performing Right Association, ADVANCE (Aust.
