As a new concept in booking entertainment, our fully automated on-line enquiry service will assist entertainment buyers and entertainment industry suppliers to contact each other quickly and effectively.

Buyers save money; Suppliers – get the deals direct, no middle-man!

How does GoDirect work for artists/entertainers and business suppliers?

  • Each entertainer or business may be listed under as many different categories as are relevant to their information page/bio.
  • An online enquiry is made via the online Booking Enquiry form that is on the Profile page of each entertainer or business.
  • An email is automatically sent to you with information that will allow you to decide if you are able to accept, or if you must decline the enquiry (i.e. lead).
    This information includes details regarding the event or function:
      • Date
      • Type of Event
      • Entertainment Budget
      • Approx Performance Start Time
      • Line-up required
      • Approx Duration of Performance
      • Approx number of guests (if available)
      • City/Suburb, State, Country
      • Type of Organization the enquiry is originating from.
  • You then either decline or accept the enquiry. You must do one, this is a fully automated system, and will unsubscribe you if they are ignored.
  • Please do not email admin with your "accept" or "decline" answer.
  • If you accept the enquiry/lead, you are then directed to the PayPal website to pay a lead fee which is currently $10.00; you must have use of a credit card or have an existing account with PayPal. PayPal is the only form of payment available.
    Should you be unavailable and decline the enquiry, no fee is payable.
  • Upon payment of the enquiry fee at PayPal, the complete enquiry is automatically forwarded to you by email, with all the contact details suppplied, enabling you to follow up directly with the enquirer to negotiate fees and finalise arrangements.
  • You are acting as your own booking agent, supplying a quote. We do not respond to any enquiries.
  • There is no refund:
    • if the booking is not confirmed by the enquirer.
    • if you can not contact the enquirer, with the contact details they have supplied.
    • if the enquirer is not responding to your calls or emails.

Benefits to Entertainment Suppliers

The GoDirect system has a great many benefits to Entertainment Suppliers:

  • Pay only for qualified "hot" in real time enquiries.
  • Have all the information on hand direct from the buyer.
  • You decide on your fee. Negotiate direct with the buyer.
  • Fee quoted remains confidential.
  • No booking agency commission is attached, thus making your fee very competitive.
  • Receive payment direct from buyer.
  • Payment terms and conditions can be in your specified time and format.
  • Permits you to promote special deals direct, one-on-one with buyer.
  • Establish a business relationship with enquirer for future bookings.
  • Receive National and International enquiries.

Fees and Charges

No fees or charges apply for a web site visitor to make an enquiry.

The Entertainment Supplier is charged a fee for each enquiry (i.e. lead) that they choose to accept. This fee is currently $10.00. This is the only on-going fee incurred. No fee is charged if a lead is declined.

There is a once off set-up fee of $35.

Before you submit your application, please email us your intent to list at admin@godirectentertainment.com.au and we will email you a tax invoice with payment options (EFT, cheque or credit card).

Once payment is cleared, please submit your application by following the link below, and send us your information/media content.

Once we have received all your content, please allow 7 business days to be listed and live.

Additionally, there is an optional File Configuration fee. Should you be 'technologically challenged' and unable to supply the content, images and video files in the correct format and specifications we require, we can do this for you. Again, this is a once-off fee and is currently $0.00 (i.e. no fee currently applies).

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a listing on GoDirect Entertainment, the following are required:

  1. Have a credit card or alternatively PayPal account (NB: credit card payments are accepted by PayPal without the need to open an account with them). PayPal is the only form of payment.
  2. Be email connected – it is vital that the contact person has access to incoming email and check emails on a daily basis (at minimum).
  3. You commit to responding to an enquiry within a period of 1 business day.
  4. You will notify GoDirect Entertainment in advance of any extended periods of any unavailability.
  5. Supply an up-to-date biography or business description, image files and, where applicable, song list, music and video files.
  6. Will at all times communicate and conduct yourself in a courteous and professional manner when dealing with an enquiry .
  7. Agree to our Terms and Conditions.

GoDirect Entertainment reserves the right to reject at it's sole discretion any application for listing that is deemed unsuitable, specify relevant category listings, and chose media content. Should an application be rejected, any setup fees charged will be refunded.

Similarly, GoDirect Entertainment reserves the right at it's sole discretion to suspend or remove a listing if the supplier is no longer meeting these requirements.

Content and File Specifications

You may send these files either by email or on disc via post (GoDirect Entertainment contact details). If sending via email, limit the total attachment size to 2MB per email, and send multiple emails if necessary.

Content and files must be supplied to us in the following format and specifications:

  • Biography or Business Description
    - up to the equivalent of 2 A4 size pages of text, in Microsoft Word or plain text format
  • Image
    - one large image in high resolution (i.e. 300 DPI), in jpg or gif format. Overall image size no bigger than 2mb please.
  • Song List (if applicable)
    - up to the equivalent of 2 A4 size pages of text, in Microsoft Word or plain text format
  • Sound Files (if applicable)
    - up to 5 in MP3 format
    - each file max of 1MB in size, recorded at Bit Rate of 128 Kbps, with fade-in & fade-out, IDE tags with appropriate information. (A sound file of these specifications has a playing time of approximately 1 minute.)
    Each sound file must be clearly titled and numbered.
    - please note: we do not take sound samples from your MySpace page.
  • Video (if applicable)
    - one file in wmv format, up to 2 MB in size, saved at Bit Rate of 150 Kbps, no contact details to be included in video. (A video file of these specifications has a playing time of approximately 2 minutes.)
    - please note: we do not take video samples from your MySpace or YouTube.

Please note: If you are not able to convert your sound/video/image to the above specifications, we may able to do this for you (a fee applies - currently $0.00 (i.e. no fee currently applies)).

If you wish to take us up on our offer to configure your files, the files must be supplied to us in digital format, not on paper; if your music samples are supplied on CD, please ensure you provide clear instructions as to which tracks to convert, otherwise this will be at our discretion.
