She delivers the songs of Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Irene Cara and Donna Summer and others from 70 – 80's in an equally dynamic way to the originals in English, while having the bonus of singing in her native tongue, Tagalog.
Marilou's first major break in the Philippines came when she was contracted to sing a commercial that was aired on Philippines National Television. She performed in many clubs and hotels throughout Manila until meeting her late partner and moving to WA in 1994. She was an immediate success in Perth appearing as guest artist in Fremantle. She went on to appear as guest artist in concerts by visiting Filipino Recording Artists including: Dulce, Victor Wood and Yoyoy Villame and at private functions throughout WA Metro and Country areas. In 2005, Marilou joined her partner's Neil Diamond Tribute as back-up singer and has thrilled audiences singing the Neil Diamond duet "You don't bring me flowers" in ACT, NSW and Queensland. Now based in Gold Coast, Queensland she is bound to set, not only, the coast alive but is able to travel and delivers her songs, the way, only she can. You will be utterly thrilled by this power-packed entertainer and totally charmed by this dynamic little lady.
