The quality of the band is the highest available. With the extensive variety in background of the players, Red Alert has all styles of music covered. Red Alert formed at the beginning of 2008 and has quickly established a strong reputation for quality performance. Prior to establishing Red Alert, three of it members were part of the Ricky Loca Band prior to it ending. As key members of (and the creative spark behind) Ricky Loca, and now performing in Red Alert, the band members have entertained corporate clients, listed below.
Red Alert performs as a six piece band, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards and two female lead vocalists. Red Alert’s strength is that is has four singers within the band who sing lead vocals. With such a wide range of sounds and styles, it is possible to cover any song - and Red Alert will give them all a go. Ranging from current top 40 hits through to the old classic songs from years gone by, your guests will be guaranteed hearing plenty of songs that they will know and love. This equates to a huge party vibe and a great nights dancing.

Lynda Fenollar
Lynda is proud to be singing with Red Alert and is excited by the amount of talent the band has to offer. She began singing with the Ricky Loca Band early in 2001 and made a huge impression on the music industry in Melbourne. With a voice that can bring out the most subtle nuance in a song and can power out the biggest rock songs of them all, Lynda is a voice to be reckoned with!
Jodi Raynes
Jodi has an extensive background in theatre and television and with Red Alert she has shown just how big her voice is. For many years she performed with The Ricky Loca Band as a backing vocalist while also touring Europe as a performer in Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s “Starlight Express”. Jodi has a strong rock voice and will keep you up on your feet dancing the night away.
Rhythm Section
Anthony Bingham, Keyboards
Anthony has been playing in bands for many years and has also worked as a conductor, orchestrator and opera singer. Anthony was one of the two founding members of the Ricky Loca Band and was responsible for creating the infamous “Classic Rock” Medley as well as the “Megastars” Show which became much sought after for corporate entertainment. He is pleased to be working with a band where the emphasis is on great music, great entertainment and great fun!
Bryn Bowen, Drums
Bryn has been playing drums in bands for a number of years and has been compared with some of the World’s best drummers due to his powerful playing and his mantra to “keep it tight”. Bryn is also one of the lead vocalists within Red Alert and his singing has to be heard to be believed.
Chris Annable, Guitar
Chris is a well known musician on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne’s South East. He is a composer, singer, guitarist, arranger and music technology expert in his own right. With his trusted Fender Stratocastor in his hands, Chris’ style is a unique blend of classic rock sound with contemporary feel. Chris has a soulful voice and sings lead vocals as well.
Darren Steel, Bass
Darren has been working as a band musician and session bass player all his life and has built up a reputation as Melbourne’s “go to” bass player. Darren has a background in jazz, fusion, rock and pop and is now in demand around Melbourne as a pit musician for theatre. Darren’s Fender Bass provides the solid bottom end that will keep the groove going all night.
