Brett has been playing the Adelaide band scene for many years and started the duo early in 2007. “Even when playing in commercial rock bands, I've always shied away from sequenced or pre-recorded music”, he says. “There's something about performing the music live that adds an extra intimacy, flexibility and energy that you just can't get any other way”. Rick is an up and coming acoustic dynamo with growling vocals and chops to match. His playing style and vocal ability are perfectly suited to the acoustic forum. The boys combine like brothers. Both have similar playing styles and approach to music, and the enjoyment they get from their craft is obvious from the first song. Dangerfield are unsequenced, which means they have a small footprint that fits really well into front bars, winery cellar doors, lounge bars and restaurants where they don't want to be overwhelmed. The choice of material covered also makes them ideal for large festivals and family shows.
