Jazzabelle combines the considerable talents and experience of singer Meera Belle and pianist Marc Clifford to deliver an elegant, soulful and funky performance to enhance your event.
Spanning the genres of Opera, Cabaret, Jazz and Contemporary styles, Meera is an artist of great flexibility. She began singing in pub bands and music theatre roles before training in Opera at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music (UK).
The featured soloist at Manchester’s inaugural Last Night At The Proms, Meera then made her Royal Albert Hall debut and went on to perform at the world famous Glastonbury Festival . For the past three years, Meera has performed aboard Cunard’s famous ocean liner, the Queen Elizabeth 2, as the Featured Artist with the Queen’s Room Dance Orchestra.
Marc has been playing keyboards professionally for over 30 years in various bands from the 1970’s till now. He has played a variety of styles ranging from jazz, pop and funk and has wide experience as an arranger and sequencer of music as well as experience in recording sessions. Previous bands he has been involved in have played classic RnB, funk, jazz fusion and rock and jazz with experience in musical shows and corporate bands.
More recently he has been playing in a variety of five star International Hotels in Sydney , Star City Casino and private and corporate functions. Marc has also worked overseas in jazz trio format in the Middle East in International Hotels.
