The Band of the Giants is a group of dynamic and highly professional musicians, focused on providing the perfect atmosphere for your event.

Repertoire:

The Band of the Giants has extensive experience performing a range of styles including Jazz, Funk, Soul, Blues, Latin, and Motown. Our diverse repertoire allows us to adapt to a range of playing situations: from subtle background music, to engaging performance, to high energy grooves for the dance floor!

Band Size:

The Band of the Giants is available in a number of formats, from trio to larger groups, depending on your requirements.

The instrumental trio consists of piano/keyboards, bass and drums, and performs jazz, latin and groove. The trio is ideal for any event where a vocalist is not required. The trio is also the basis for larger ensembles.

The quartet sees the addition of a male vocalist/saxophone or female vocalist. The quartet is the most versatile band format, performing background music as well as a large selection of funk, soul, jazz, and latin for the dance floor.

The quintet sees the addition of another instrument (generally guitar) to provide a fuller sound.

Larger ensembles are available on request.

The Complete Package:

The Band of the Giants not only provides great music for your event. We can also include the supply and operation of our professional PA system, and stage/dance floor lighting to provide a great atmosphere. Our high quality PA produces a great band sound in small to medium rooms and can be used for speeches, MC duties and providing music from cd or ipod. Our professional stage and/or dance floor lighting can be used to create almost any atmosphere, from subtle ambiance, to DJ style dance floor lighting.
