With his acoustic guitar, stompbox, harmonica and a dry Aussie sense of humour, Erroll has his audience in stitches with songs and verse that reflect everyday situations and misfortunes that happen to us all. For his inspiration, Erroll has to look no further than his own backyard or over the neighbour’s fence. Mundane domestic occurrences such as mowing the lawn, dealing with Centrelink, having a go at telemarketers, getting old, and losing your hair are all given the Erroll Gray treatment with giggles guaranteed. As well as his own comedy songs from his CD’s "Bugger Me Dead" and "the Backyard Ballardeer", Erroll has a vast repertoire of Australian classics from Slim Dusty to Paul Kelly and Cold Chisel. The Backyard Balladeeris a flexible show, ranging from a 1 x 45 minute spot to a 3-4 hour dinner or lounge show with music and comedy.
