Last Chance is a group of guys who, after years of raising families, building careers and generally being busy, got together through the Weekend Warriors program in 2004.

Under the guidance of Bob Spencer (ex Angels and Skyhooks) they rejoined the live music scene. The band has continued to hone their sound and skills since. They have performed extensively in clubs and pubs around Victoria over the last four years and have a growing list of regular venues.

They have developed a country rock/alternative country flavour, but give their audiences a taste of pub rock covering the last 40 years.

A strong Australian flavour is apparent in their setlist including Paul Kelly, Adam Brand, The Black Sorrows, The Dingoes, Lee Kernaghan and The Flood. Overseas influences include Creedence, Steve Earle, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, The Eagles and Brad Paisley

The guys have returned to the fold after many years absence and will be working hard to make an impact and build a following on the country scene.


The band are:-

Geoff Wood - Lead Vocals and Guitar
The pro musician in the band, Geoff has recorded and gigged around Victoria and elsewhere for more than 20 years. He has recently moved out from behind the drums to take up the frontman role. He provides edgy vocals and is an accomplished guitarist which makes for great listening.

David Upson – Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin and Harp
The bands multi-instrumentalist and a good old country boy. Dave has many quick changes of instruments during each gig providing interesting contrasts from song to song. Dave and Geoff are mates with a history that dates back to school days.

Barry Trevor - Bass and Vocals
Baz is a bass man extraordinaire. Gentle giant of the band and half of our rythym section. He drives the band with great bass lines and unsurpassed dedication to getting it right

John Kroon - Drums and Vocals
A recent addition to the band John has settled into the role very quickly and show us what an accomplished drummer he is.

Warren Hahnel - Lead Guitar and Vocals (and part time sound engineer)
A driving force behind the band with slick riffs and a great variety of sounds. Warren started in the music industry at age 15, playing in pubs and clubs in country Victoria.
