Demand for Jampact’s concept led to forming a trio and a five piece live band, playing at weddings, corporate functions, dinner dances and private parties. Jampact’s incredible line up includes Chris Appleton on tenor saxophone and keyboards. Not only is Chris an amazing musician but his exciting personality and brilliant vocal harmonies will blow you away. Chris’s musical career began in London where he mesmerized crowds in local pubs and private and public venues with his sexy, sultry saxophone sounds. Also a dynamic keyboardist and fabulous backing vocalist with intricate harmonies, Chris is a man of many talents! Chris moved to Australia seven years ago and has embraced the Melbourne music scene, playing with bands such as Mix & Match, Licorice and Avalon. Chris has also worked with other talented artists such as Gary Pinto, James Cupples and Claire Woodley , just to mention a few. His love of music, entertaining and making people laugh, or cry is what makes him an exciting and exhilarating, musician and entertainer. Chris’s better half or Marie-Annick Appleton, if you prefer to call her, kick started her vocal career performing in front of three thousand people for Australian boxer Lester Ellis for his come back fight to boxing. Performing with Kaz Jacobson’s “Tinsel Town Productions” led to charity events, theatre performances and work with Melbourne bands such as Mud, Y2K and Ghaia as well as appearances at the Tennis Centre and Crown casino for boxing and basketball events. Annick is a talented vocalist with powerful and sparkling energy; a very smooth and soulful artist whose versatility, great dance moves and vibrant stage presence will excite you. Entertainment with a smile is her rapture and she’ll have any crowd moved or moving on the dance floor with her enchanting voice and personality. Entertainment is what we’re about!
