Line up(s) available: 3 piece (trio) White Goat is a three piece band established in the heart of the Waikato, New Zealand who has recently relocated to Melbourne Australia. This band is as crazy as their name! The White Goat band has captured audiences all over New Zealand with its vitality and enthusiastic performances. With the release of their long awaited CD “Under the Influence” Their popularity has increased significantly, gaining independent radio airplay and recognition through out New Zealand. This working band has found them selves performing at Club’s, pubs, weddings, Birthday’s community & corporate events, with crowds of up to 5000 people. From a very early age they began performing at Gigs, raising money for there school to invest in new music equipment. Lead guitar & vocalist, Steve Henderson, along side his wife, Bass guitarist Sharon Henderson, have actively been involved in Music from the very early age of 13. Steve’s raw passion for the guitar is reflected in his performance, captivating audiences with his guitar technique & vocal versatility. Sharon’s solid bass guitar ties the group together and sets the foundation for a great tight sound. Supporting Steve & Sharon, on the drum’s, is Mike McKinley. Mike has performed with artists from around N.Z. & Overseas. Together, Steve, Mike & Sharon have created a performance not to be missed!!
Guitar & Vocals Steve heads the band with his vibrant guitar style and versatile vocals. Steve’s influences are derived from the likes of the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughn, Mark Knophler, Hank Marvin, Eric Clapton, JJ Cale & Brad Paisley. With Steve’s lightening licks and Fat Strat sound, he has captivated audiences around the country. Sharon Henderson Bass Guitar Sharon (Steve’s wife) has been performing with Steve from the very beginning and together they have bonded a very tight sound. Sharon’s Strong solid Bass lines lock the band into what we would call, a force to be reckoned with. Mike McKinley Drums & Vocal Mike is no stranger to the music scene. After drumming for various groups, Mike settled himself Eight years ago with White Goat. Performing throughout the country, he has entertained audiences with not only his drumming ability, but guitar & vocals skills as well. With Mike’s intoxicating personality he has established himself as a fantastic all round entertainer and musician.
