This dynamic Latin production showcases Melbourne’s finest and elite professional performers who have travelled the world in various productions. With the combination of talented dancers in Latin American styles to Hip Hop and Funk, Elegua is a dance company formed by a shared passion for dance and a commitment to quality, integrity, excellence and professionalism.

Elegua is available for national performances and international stage shows. Entertainment packages are tailored to suit any event and budget. The duration of each show can be tailored to suit the individual needs of the client and may vary from 10minutes - 1hour.
Each show has the added option of a Master of Ceremonies (MC) who interacts and guides the audience through our journey from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to the heart and soul of South and Central America.
Show Brief:
Elegua opens with the 'Samba Carnaval' routine. Our sexy and beautiful Showgirls are costumed in beautifully sequined outfits with feathered headpieces, bringing the Carnaval of Rio de Janiero to your event. After the opening routine, your guests will experience the passion, rhythm and energy of various dance styles from Brazil, Cuba and South and Central America.

- BATUCADA (Percussionists playing live Samba rhythms)
- CAPOEIRA (Brazilian Martial Arts)

- LAMBADA (Forbidden Dance)
- TIMBALADA (High energy performance full of colour, fun and vibrant dance moves)
- REGGAETON (Very hip and all the rage overseas)
- LATIN FUNK (Combining Jazz and Funk to Latin rhythms)
- CHA CHA CHA (Latin American Ballroom style)
- FLAMENCO (Spanish flamenco)
- RUMBA (Cuban Rumba)
- SALSA (Cuban and LA style Salsa)
- TANGO CONTEMPORAY (Modern Contemporary Tango with Argentine Tango)
An interactive segment can also be added to any show format and is a very popular segment. The dance competition involves guests and encourages them to participate and test their dance skills. At the end of the show, our performers invite guests onto the dance floor to continue celebrations and be a part of our Latin experience.
Roving 'Percussionists/Drummers’ & 'Samba Queens'
Our percussionists play live infectious samba rhythms accompanied by the beautiful Samba Showgirls roaming the function area. This is all high-energy playing and is a guaranteed crowd stopper and will surely get the party started.
The live percussion segment can be packaged with the show or can be performed separately to the show.
Meet & Greet Showgirls
Our performers can be booked for Meet & Greet segments and/or freestyling. Our Samba Showgirls are very popular and can be accompanied by percussionists playing live infectious Samba rhythms, bringing the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro to your event.
Dance Workshops
Add something different to your next event whether it is a product launch, birthday, wedding or engagement celebration, staff party or Christmas Party. We have highly skilled Latin Instructors who have worked locally and internationally conducting fun and exciting workshops in any dance style.
Depending on the program workshops run for approximately 1 hour however this may be varied to suit your needs. Workshops are a great way to get your guests up and dancing and by learning a few different moves and spins it helps to builds their confidence on the dance floor. For corporate staff functions it can also be a great way to encourage social interaction and build team communication and morale.

If you have a theme planned for your upcoming event and want to add something special, then we can assist. Choreography and costumes are designed to enhance the planned theme for any event.
Concept choreography can incorporate different dance styles such as Hip Hop, Funk, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Cheerleading plus other specialty dance styles such as Cuban and Brazilian Street Latin.
All dancers/models are appropriately cast for each event.
