Jason Lee’s first single, “Boy into a man” from his debut self-titled EP on air at Cool Country Radio 1476 2KA. Jason Lee began his career in music almost five years ago as a solo artist.

Taking the public by storm, Jason Lee competed against over 175 entrants in the NSW & ACT Championship Showcase and the NSW Champions of Champions in which Jason Lee received an automatic entry two years running in one of Tamworth’s main events, Toyota Star Maker and also an automatic entry into the 2006 CMAA Australian College of Country Music.

After College 2006 and Toyota Star Maker, Jason Lee took the ball and ran with it and has never taken a step back. Jason Lee says “There's not much I'd rather do then sing and play country music", “To make something of yourself, you need to show that you are capable and keen to put in the hard yard”, because hoping is just not enough.

Country music has always been Jason Lee's passion and since 1998, Jason Lee has performed Country Music on a part-time basis earning him a great respect & reputation throughout many venues across NSW and QLD. With an untiring commitment to his music coupled with his professional attitude towards all aspects of live performance and self promotion, there is no doubt that Jason-Lee has plenty to offer the Australian Country Music Industry.

Jason Lee has a bright future ahead of him. Jason Lee’s band “Red Cedar” are very tight and versatile, playing endless music and keeping the crowd on their feet, playing music from Alan Jackson, Slim Dusty, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Lynard Skynard, Rock ‘n’ Roll and '90s modern country rock.

Jason Lee’s other achievements include 2006 Steel City Male Vocal, 2006 Steel City Best Songwriter, 2006 Steel City King of Country and much more. Jason Lee has completed one of his longtime coming goals! “To record his debut record with one of Australia’s well known producers, “Herman Kovac”, from Ramrod Studios at Davidson”.
The self titled EP, “Jason Lee” due for release around early April 2008, is the Rolls-Royce of material previously performed by the young up and coming artist.

The first single “Boy into a Man”, released from the debut EP, is a song co-written by one of Australia’s finest Singer/Songwriters, “Travis Collins”.
Jason Lee’s debut single “Boy into a man” is receiving enormous airplay on Cool Country Radio and hopes to enter the Top 10 Country Charts.
