Remember when you were a child and clowns were funny ?

You’ll find cheeky rags is hilariously funny as he performs slapstick magic, making so many mistakes that the children (and ‘big kids’) delight in correcting him and helping him. Perform his magic tricks ~ even producing a cute live animal or two for them to pet or hold.

“His loony larks and preposterous pranks keep young and old alike in fits of laughter”.

Rags is an “auguste” clown with a “tramp face”, big floppy shoes and huge baggy pants. His shows often end with his pants falling down to reveal his silly underwear as he exits in embarrassment amid cheers and uproarious laughter.


“C J” has entertained audiences both young and old for over 20 years both at home and abroad. He is sensitive to the needs of different ages and relishes the sight of children’s ~ and adults’ ~ faces. Lighting up with excitement and joy as each of his madcap antics produces yet another surprise!


His most popular shows are:

  • “Making a meal of magic” and “happy birthday who to?” Children’s shows
  • “The lost bunny” show for infants and “Choir practice” theatre restaurant show
