Bio:
Lil Fx was born in Darlinghurst Sydney. As a child he lived near train lines in a very busy suburban centre. Coming from a family of 4 children Lil and his brothers began mimicking local suburban sounds while playing imaginary games and were a great inspiration for the development of Lil’s art and music.

At age six he relocated to Rockdale under the airport flight path thus expanding his repitiore to over 200 different sound effects, this child had a unique talent by the age of eight he had mastered the art of vocally reproducing amazing sound effects which he used to entertain himself, his family, the local children and adults around his neighborhood and at his school.

At a mere age of thirteen Lil FX was employed by Hanna Barbra in which he was involved in making sound effects for many cartoons and their characters. As Lil grew so did his skills, with a repitiore of over 500 vocal sound effects, people noticed his unusual but very natural talent. Teachers made him do special appearances at School assemblies and he was constantly in demand at parties.

His friends encouraged him to take his gift more seriously and perform on stage. At the age of sixteen he was a drummer, percussionist and singer while he toured Australia in a band called Mulga Yak & other bands for eight years.


It all began in 1988 at Lil’s first live comedy performance at Harold Park Open Mic Night, he blew the audience away and by the next day was offered an appearance on Prime Television. Lil’s debut appearance on national television was on the Afternoon Show with James Valentine people were thrilled.

Lil’s career exploded from there, He performed on the The Ray Martin Show as seen on the website Steve Vizard Show, hailing him a success. He also made appearances on Kids Shows such as Wonder World and Riggi-didge, again with great reviews Lil performed with zanny The Jim Rose Circus when they were in Sydney, Lil FX has an amazing talent which is able to enthrall and captivate a wide range of audience both young and old.

Lil FX Toured around Australia performing at every major night club including The Enmore Theatre, Parramatta Riverside, Penrith Leagues Club, Marrickville Soccer Club, The State Theatre, Woodville Town Hall S.A. just to name a few.
