String Fever is a high energy and hilarious headline act – most suitable as a 30-40 minute after-dinner entertainment feature. Wife and husband team Jacqui and Brenton Edgecombe combine years of professional orchestral playing with ten years as full-time entertainers to present an act that is unique, top quality – and most importantly – a lot of fun. String Fever has something for everyone – in a way that gets their toes tapping, hearts thumping, and faces grinning, fusing classical music with today’s here and now pop sounds.
String Fever have received 11 National Awards for their services to showbiz, including five ‘MO’ Awards, and the “Qantas Peter Allen Variety Performers of the Year”.
Although the show is always tailored for your audience in terms of both musical styles and patter, we’ve listed a few feature moments from recent String Fever perfomances to give you some ideas:
