Jazz groove meets world beat.

Flight is a passionate and skilful jazz-and-beyond band that can adapt to almost any situation. Soulful melodies, deep grooves, diverse originals and unique abstractions of an eclectic range of covers, with flutes, saxes, vocals, guitar, bass and percussion.

Flight has played festivals and clubs such as the Manly Jazz Festival, the Basement and the Wine Banq, has performed in 5 star hotels including the Radisson Kestrel, and has had long-standing residencies at Out of Africa Restaurant, Manly Pier Restaurant and the Artichoke Arts Cafe. Other gigs include weddings at Clonny’s and at le Kiosk, and corporate events for the law firm Cutler and Hughes, for the Manly Chamber of Commerce, and for Qantas. Flight played for the 2006 Alfred Publishing (Warner’s Music) Print Music Fair, for the opening of the 2006 and 2007 Manly Festival of Arts, and for a 2007 Fashion Week event at the Strand Arcade.
