Hey King is an original dynamic group from Geelong, writing catchy and creative songs with influences from bands like INXS, Pink Floyd, and Klaxons. The music combines modern syth effects, rocking riffs, and of course the saxomatic.

Just to give a brief background on the band...
The guys won the NCBC battle of the bands in Geelong 2007, headlined Waurn Out festival at Deakin Uni Geelong, played gigs in Melbourne at The Drunken Poet in Carlton, the Barwon Club (Geelong), The National Hotel (Geelong) and Karova Lounge in Ballarat.

The most recent demo recorded had three songs which made it to number 1, 2, and 3 on the triplej unearthed electronic chart. The song 'Small Town Lies' held the number 1 position on the unearthed chart for three weeks.

The style of music varies between alternate rock, electronic, indie, and funk.
