Ratt Pöisön pay homage to the decade of decadence when guitars went to 11, rock stars were heroes and hair bands made the world go round ’n’ round - A time when music was all about fast cars, dangerous women, and having nothin’ but a good time. Ratt Pöisön has a whole swag of rock classics in their repertoire to choose from, ranging from fist-pumping party anthems to tear-jerking power ballads. Ratt Pöisön looks the part even down to the wardrobe which consists of real glam rock attire that was actually worn by hair bands in the 80’s. Armed with an arsenal of genuine guitars and instruments from the era, Ratt Pöisön will transport you back in time to the arena spectaculars of the 1980’s with their reproductions of retro 80’s rock classics – no obscure or rare tracks here – only true top 40 chart-busting 80’s tunes and a performance replicating the stage choreography of the legendary bands they imitate, the result of experience gleaned from innumerable hours of viewing MTV and Video Hits. The Ratt Pöisön experience is unique in such a way that it encapsulates a whole genre of an era, while many other tribute bands paint themselves into a corner by covering a single artist only. The members share a passion that stems from loving the music they grew up on. All the guys are veterans of the local live music scene with many years of experience between them. With ages averaging in their mid-30’s, this experience is displayed in their professional attitude, articulated musical performances and overall presence. So slide into some spandex, slather on the mascara, and dig out the industrial strength hair products, because Ratt Pöisön is sweeping the glam nation.
