Line up(s) available: 3 piece (trio) RHS formed over drinks at Melbourne’s Hard Rock Cafe in October 2006. The trio comprising of Paul William Ray (vocals/guitar), Michael Hall (drums/vocals), and Darren Steel (bass/vocals) became the Hard Rock house band through 06’/07’ playing there almost every Saturday night and for various other business and private functions the Hard Rock has put on – including an ‘Elvis Presley’ tribute night where the boys played many of The Kings biggest hits. All three RHS members have been friends for over 10 years and have had extensive professional experience both together and apart. Paul toured Europe as guitarist with ‘Dave Evans’ (original ac/dc singer) in 2005 and has also released two cd’s with his country/rock band ‘The Falconz’. He now fronts the ‘Paul William Ray’ band which includes Michael and Darren. Darren is a sought after bassist in the Melbourne theatre and jazz scene – a musicians musician if you will. Michael has been drumming for over 20 years and is fluent in all styles. He can play country, rock, metal, jazz. You name it!
Whilst professional and consistent, the boys are not afraid to rock and have a good time! The band can also be booked in an acoustic setting. RHS is not just another covers act – it is an experience. Awesome vocals, ripping guitar, ultra smooth rhythms, big songs, man if you aren’t having a ball at the RHS show you better check your pulse…
