Tim performs an assortment of songs ranging from country ballads to hard rock, complimenting them with acoustic guitar playing styles ranging from soft finger-picking to funky and dance-able rhythms. Great songs delivered with passion and a high standard of guitar playing is what you can expect when Tim has the stage, promising a night of good times and entertaining listening.
With 10 years experience in live music as a lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Tim Henry has made a smooth transition into solo performing.
Tim picked up the guitar at age 14 and spent countless hours teaching himself Blues, Rock, Classical & Heavy Metal styles. Whilst in High School, he played lead guitar in award-winning stage and heavy metal bands.
From there he continued as a professional musician in roles ranging from highly skilled heavy metal lead guitarist to guitarist/backing vocalist in rock bands and acoustic duos. In his most recent role, he expanded into singing lead vocals on 2-3 songs per set as well as backup. Developing a hunger for a higher level of musical enjoyment, Tim wanted to sing lead vocals full time, so took on the new challenge of solo performing
As a solo artist, Tim began honing his skills at open mic nights to a fantastic crowd response, before too long he moved straight into ‘proper’ gigs in bars and restaurants, entertaining a crowd for a full night.
Throughout his career, Tim developed a strong reputation in as a hard working and reliable band member. This is due to a strong work ethic and diligence; qualities that have been carried over to his new career path.
With over 10 years experience on stage and a fresh new enthusiasm, Tim continues the enjoyment of entertaining a crowd.
