Celtic Fire is a high energy band playing a dynamic mixture of your favourite Irish, Celtic & Australian sing-a-longs and toe-tapping tunes.

Don't be fooled by the name of the band - we play many styles of music including bush music, rock'n roll, blues, pop, country, & classical.

We specialize in providing Celtic entertainment for all types of functions from weddings & garden parties, through to lively sessions, dances & corporate events.

With a unique combination of harp, whistle, flute, accordion, bodhran, guitar & vocals, Celtic Fire will make your event a lively and enjoyable experience.

Music & dance calling for bush dances and ceilis also available.

Depending on your budget / function you can book a duo, up to a 4 piece band. Alison has many year's experience in organizing festivals and events, and can help with the details. We will be pleased to discuss with you what it is that you require, or to offer advice.

Celtic Fire are:

Alison Boyd
Originally from Belfast, Alison is a very accomplished musician. She is a classically trained flautist & pianist and has performed in Ireland, Europe & the South Pacific, & in folk clubs and festivals around Australia.

She plays harp, tin whistles, low whistles, flutes (wooden and classical), bodhran, keyboard, piano accordion & bouzouki. Alison has taught tin whistle and bodhran at many festivals.

Alison has played in many bands over the years. She has also been involved in organising several festivals including the "St Albans Folk Festival", and the "Celtic Music Festival at the Mean Fiddler," and runs Boyd's Irish Music Agency.

She has been recorded on several CDs including:

Eric Eisler

Eric has been performing in bands from the age of 22. He plays mandolin, banjo, guitar, bass guitar, lagerphone, bodhran and fiddle. He also provides vocals and is a fantastic dance caller.

Eric has also performed with many dance groups including Scottish, Irish & English country dance. He is also a member of the Sydney Scottish Fiddles, and made his film debut in "My brilliant career."
