Would you like something unusual for your wedding?
A harpist as part of the ceremony creates a beautiful romantic & peaceful ambience. Alison has played the harp for many wedding and functions including performing in Sydney Town Hall for Mary McAleese (President of Ireland).
Alison plays:
- before the ceremony
- for the bride to process in
- while you sign the register
- at the end of the ceremony
Not just for weddings, the harp can provide beautiful background music for any function or occasion.
Other combinations include:
Harp & Guitar - the combination of Celtic harp & guitar can add a sophisticated atmosphere to your occasion. It is perfect for creating that relaxing mood.
Harp & Fiddle – for that real Irish sound.
Full Irish &/or Bush band also available.
Perfect for weddings- we can provide anything from garden music while your guests are arriving, dinner music, through to more lively music for dancing later in the evening. Duo – 5 piece bands available- depending on your budget.
"I'm writing you this letter to express our appreciation and thanks for making our Wedding day so very special. It was so beautiful to walk down the aisle to an Irish harp playing in the background, it brought me back to thinking of my family and home for a short while."
"It sounded so beautiful and sweet it brought tears to my "wee Irish eyes.”
"we couldn't go to Ireland, so you brought Ireland to us."
"You turned our wedding day into an Irish celebration and have given us many happy memories to carry with us throughout our life."
“Heard you at the Rocks doing some Irish tunes. Your combination of whistle & guitar is fantastic. I have not heard the whistle played like this before - so fast & rhythmic, cheerful & hypnotic.”
“terrific-good live entertainment-toe tapping stuff!!”
“..thank you and your band for your beautiful & lively music on our wedding day. We still have some of the music, singing & dancing on our video so we will enjoy it for years to come.”
This is by no means a full list but it will give you a good idea of what I / we can do.
