Multi award-winning young singer songwriter of beautiful jazz infused songs. Hailed by leading industry bible "The Music Network" as having "one of the best voices we have heard all year and gorgeous lyrics to match" and recently featured in Rolling Stone, Australian Musician magazine and on Foxtel's "Launch of Legends" documentary, Jessica's charismatic and quirky performances captivate her discerning, music-loving audiences.

Jessica Paige, 21 yr old busker, multi-award winning singer/songwriter, plays solo, duo and with her band of Paige Boys. Jessica received the first of three generous Publicity & Promotion Grants from the John Butler JB Seed to assist her launch and tour. "Under my Skin" was launched in November 2006 and Jess and her Paige Boys embarked on a 3 state tour through 14 towns and cities to celebrate.

Jessica began her music career at 14 on the streets of Melbourne, busking. Gigs started to follow when she was 16 and she got her band together. Her 2004 EP "Back of Our Minds" was assisted by an Australia Council grant and songs went on to score six international and national song awards including the APRA Songwriter Award in Musicoz 2004 (also awards in Rockit, Unisong, Sound Vault Award, ASA Competition and Musicoz Awards).

Jessica has recently been interviewed on Barry Bissell’s Top 20, Coast FM (ABC) and Under My Skin was on rotation on Qantas in-flight radio in January as well as having been aired on Video Hits, Rage + Channel V.

Jess & the Paige Boys

Female-fronted by the leather-skirted-and-one-red-stockinged Jess on gee-tar and vocals, she and her Paige Boys take the stage and proceed to fuel proceedings with some very amicable acoustic-tinged folk rock – this is minimalist folk at its finest. Sparse and pleasantly understated, there are moments of quite painful beauty which tend to erupt every so often into virulent crescendos in dynamic contrast to the relatively cruisy nature of the music as a whole.

Jess's vocals are high and melodic without being cloying,…. She tends to sigh deeply and audibly before each number, a charming reminder that this girl with the surprisingly developed voice is actually relatively unseasoned – and utterly earnest in her delivery… it adds up to lend a spark of youthful, enthusiastic passion that is all too easily lost in a lot of musicians nowadays.

Jess and the Paige Boys have pretty much honed the art of minimalist musicality to a fine point… Jess' voice receives compliments aplenty… the set is smoking.

Jess loves being on the stage and has a stage manner that belies her years. Highly recommended!

Enough songs for 3 x 45 minute sets, also some covers Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Jazz standards. Jessica has her own portable PA suitable for a small venue.
