The OCD Plan are a four piece indie rock band with a variety of influences which has translated into their album having a diverse sound and limitless song styles.

Since forming the current line up in January 07, they have been able to create over two dozen songs ready for recording and stage. Their debut album, Take Only As Directed, is a selection of some of their own songs and is the first recording as a band and was completed live, in the studio. They’ve restricted any effects to our recordings so that what you hear on the album is what you hear live.

The OCD Plan's name was derived from the term Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (gotten from some of the people in our lives!) and the constant questioning from everyone of what “plan” did we have in place to take the band further, thus we became: The OCD Plan.

Lyrically, the songs are all very personal and based on life experiences be them good or bad.

The OCD Plan's live shows have been described by fans and other muso’s as a “powerful, energetic and in-your-face” musical experience mixed with a twisted sense of humour.
