The Rhythm Method are a 5 piece covers band playing songs from the 70’s till now, but mostly play hits from the 70’s and 80’s. We are based in Canberra and have been together for nearly 3yrs. We comprise of a lead singer, drummer and 3 guitarist, rhythm, lead and bass, we all sing backing vocals except the drummer. The lead vocalist also plays keyboards, harmonica and acoustic guitar as well as the other guitarist switching between electric and acoustic guitars.

We came together through a program called ″Weekend Warriors″. People who either played an instrument or sang in their younger years, and then gave it up to have families or for whatever reason, are given a second chance to get up on stage and perform for a live audience. After the live show we decided to stay together as a band and have been performing since then. We are not spring chickens, our average age is about 40. We have a lot of fun playing our music, and from the comments we receive from people at our gigs, they enjoy it as well.
