We specialize in combining the traditional art of fire dancing with circus, martial arts, modern dance and acrobatic skills, all set to a high energy soundtrack to create an exciting and dynamic act.

The Pyroptix team are just back from performing in Dubai's eight billion dollar Burj Al Arab & were also recently sharing the stage with J-Lo and Ricky Martin at Sir Phillip Greens 55th on a private tropical island.

Pyroptix has provided shows for exclusive events across the world. Recent destinations include The Maldives, Dubai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau & Kuala Lumpur. Able to perform indoor or out, Pyroptix can provide solo, duo or group shows of any size.

From intimate gatherings and spaces, to superclub podiums and high magnitude events. Stunning pyrotechnic effects can also be incorporated for the ultimate spectacle.

Choreographed Stage Shows:

• 1 Person choreographed fire show: 8 minutes
• 2 Person choreographed fire show: 12 minutes
• 3 Person choreographed fire show: 15 minutes
• 4 Person choreographed fire show: 18 minutes
  

Roving, Meet & Greet or Atmospheric performance can be supplied in 5 minute sets spaced over a required duration.

Larger or custom shows can be organised and pyrotechnic effects can be incorporated by consultation.

Cancellations

Any cancellations made after booking require partial or full fee payment.
Within 4 weeks of event date 25% of fee.
Within 3 weeks of event date 50% of fee.
Within 2 weeks of event date 75% of fee.
Within 1 week of event date 100% of fee.

Cancellations due to weather or other late notice circumstances will require full fee payment. Wet weather contingencies should be discussed with the artists prior to booking as space requirements will apply and show may need to be altered.


Considerations:

• Specialized fuel will be used that is free of soot and smoke, odorless and non toxic
• The performance area must be free of any flammable materials or props
• Please ensure that there are no hangings, fabrics or similar decor directly above the performance space and no trip hazards
• Pyroptix performers will bear no responsibility for valuables left in the performance area

If the stage surface is smooth e.g. granite, tiles or parquet, it will be slippery for approximately 5 minutes until the fuel residue evaporates. Please account for this requirement. Ensure guests and other performers are aware. Pyroptix will bear no responsibility for this hazard. Rolling out carpet for the duration of the show is a preferred solution.

Space:
The below dimensions are optimum spaces for fire shows. We have worked in many challenging spaces in the past and are generally able to adapt to available space. Please advise on any space restrictions when booking.

Solo show: Width: 4m Depth: 4m Height: 4m

Duo show: Width: 5m Depth: 5m Height: 5m

Trio show: Width: 6m Depth: 5m Height: 5m

4 person show: Width: 7m Depth: 6m Height: 5m

We require a reasonable backstage area suitable for costuming, makeup and equipment preparation. Please advise of the stage surface when booking. If surface is smooth rolled out carpeting is preferred if available.

If any environment is judged to be unsafe or spacing specifications provided are incorrect we reserve the right to modify or cancel the show. In these instances a full fee will be charged.

Pyrotechnics shows require slightly larger spaces depending on size of effects used.

Lighting:

• Please restrict any lighting to a soft wash in low level hues such as dark blue and purple, dark red or UV
• Please avoid any orange, yellow or white lighting or backdrops.

Sound:

• For choreographed shows we require a powerful sound system and monitors as the artist's need to hear music cues above the roar of the flames
• Performances can easily be adapted to events with live musicians.

Dressing room and Amenities:

• One large, well ventilated dressing room with access to mirror, wash basin and chairs required as close as possible and with clear access to working areas.
• Bottled water and if call time is longer than 2 hours, healthy snacks.
  

Recording Devices:

• Advise upon booking if the event will be filmed. Permission for video and photography of the performance will be happily given upon the agreement that unedited copies of all footage and photos featuring the artistes will be delivered to Pyroptix within 30 days.

Insurance and Permits:

The artists have $20,000,000 AUD public and property liability insurance worldwide (excluding USA & Canada which can be arranged on request).

Any local permits necessary will be the responsibility of the hirer unless the artists agree otherwise. Within Australia fire performances are allowed at the discretion of the venue.

Material Requirements:

For interstate and international shows fuel, flights, transport and accommodation with internet access will be additional to our fee.

Pyrotech shows will also need all pyrotechnics supplied.

For interstate and international shows agent or client must source and provide one of the following.

Please arrange fuel well in advance of performance as alternate fuels may require show modification.

Generally 1 liter per 2 minutes of performance time is sufficient.

Fuel to be supplied in 5 liter or similar easy to handle containers.
