Providing a proven and balanced repertoire, catering for a wide variety of audience tastes, The Swing Club consists of two founding members, Steven Zammit (Vocals) and Mark Rigoni (Guitar).
Steven Zammit – Vocals Steven has vast experience in musical performance, which includes work on Young Talent Time and regular appearances on variety television. Steven has been performing since he was 8 years old, thus accumulating more than 26 years of experience in the music industry. Steven has a style of his own, which has proven very successful. He recently completed further studies in Jazz and Popular music. Steven also works as a vocal tutor from his studio in Williamstown and at several schools.
Mark Rigoni – Acoustic & Semi Acoustic Guitar Mark has been working as a guitarist for 18 years in Adelaide and Melbourne, as well as overseas. He has an enormous amount of performance experience. He began his career in music as a Rock and Roll/Blues Guitarist, then in recent years returned to College to study Jazz. As well as performing in the Swing Club Mark is also a sought after session musician in the music industry. Mark tutors in Jazz and contemporary guitar at several music schools in the Melbourne area.
The Swing Club calls on the talents of some of Australia’s finest and most respected session musicians. Depending on the size and needs of the venue and/or function, The Swing Club can be booked as a trio, quartet, quintet or sextet and may include some of the following artists.
