Dub/Jazz/Electro/Chillout/Drum'n'bass - These are just a few words used to describe stereovolvo's genre-defying sound.
Producers and longtime collaborators Peter Warren-Smith and Anthony Norris reunite to add a new dimension to the space-dub continuum. Stereovolvo is a study in low-end theory combining dub tracks that draw strength from modern jazz fusion, Afro/Jamaican rhythm styles and ambient electronics.
Starting from humble beginnings with a residency at the Bridge hotel, Richmond, Stereovolvo have gone on to play Scubar (residency), The Laundry, The Purple Emerald (residency) as well as The Vinyard, Veludo and The Belgian Beer Cafe. One of the highlights of 2006 was playing Earthdance festival on funktion-one soundsystem with our friends in winston giles orchestra and benza. Stoked to be releasing their debut album soon, Stereovolvo will be playing a festival/nightclub/party near you.
