Deuce can also cater for events that require an act with a little more kick than your average Duo. With their fantastic sound system and amazing studio produced backing tracks, Deuce can deliver a huge production without the cost of hiring a five piece band.
Deuce currently enjoy performing at parties and functions most weekends within the metro area, and find that their act is very well suited to a crowd that is enthusiastic about live entertainment, and who enjoy experiencing a great performance by two excellent musicians. DANNY - GUITAR/VOCALS
Danny is a seasoned performer who has worked many years in the music industry, from duos to trios and show bands; Danny's the guy who rocks your socks off with blistering guitar solos and dynamic stage presence. As a professional musician Danny is a session guitarist, music teacher, vocal producer and song writer. With his original group FREEFALL THE BAND, Danny has enjoyed recognition on both main stream television and radio (Triple M, Triple J, Triple R, Channel V, Rage, Channel 31) Freefall's Dynamic theatrical rock music has also been used in movies and TV shows.
LAURA - VOCALS
Laura Denny, aged 22, began singing at age 8 by performing in a series of amateur stage performances. She completed a Diploma in Music Performance at JMC Academy, 2003, where singers were coached on how to approach different genres of music, harmonies, technology, musical structure, recording technique and dance. The university band Hussyville, a regular cover act at the Star Bar in South Melbourne, was subsequently signed by Westside Talent Agency, and were assigned to work with Dean Vegas, Elvis Tribute Artist. Played at many different venues over the course of 6 months, including Rosebud RSL, Alphington Golf Club, Mulwala Ski Club, Barham RSL, Warragul Club, Traralgon Workmen's Club, and Village Green Hotel among others.
Upon Dean's relocation to Queensland, joined Groovetrain, a working cover trio, and played more venues around Melbourne in areas such as Yarraville, Frankston, Guys Hill and Berwick. Recorded demos and did some backing vocals for the producer's side projects.
Began writing originals with guitarist Daniel Butcher in 2005. Filled in for Motley Crue tribute band Live Wire at Calder Park in Easter 2006. Currently performing with Danny Lopez in cover band Deuce.
