The Joanna Lavell Band is an exciting new corporate, function and wedding band presenting Jazz, Soul, Disco, Groove and Funk music. The band performs an eclectic mix of songs by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Chaka Kahn, Earth,Wind and Fire, Bill Withers, Tower of Power, The Metres, and more.
The ensemble comprises of Joanna Lavell on vocals and a rhythm section made up guitar, keyboards, bass and drums that are dedicated to pure groove.
The Joanna Lavell Band’s sound is smooth, soulful, funky and groove orientated. The band is both visually appealing and musically versatile. Members of this ensemble have performed at many prestigious events and concerts throughout Australia.
A good rapport between band and audience is an integral part of all of The Joanna Lavell Band’s performances. The aim of the band is to provide a sophisticated sound as well as placing an emphasis on fun and raw energy to create an exciting party vibe or a laid back lounge atmosphere.
