Hype are an acoustic duo that have been performing at weddings, pubs, clubs and corporate functions since early 2007. They offer a range of music that varies from dinner music to pub rock/dance sets.

Amanda (singer) and Michael (guitar) are both members of one of Sydney’s leading covers band “Beer ‘n’ Skittles” which has performed at many high profile venues such as the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Convention and Exhibition centre and many other corporate venues. Ask us about booking Beer ‘n’ Skittles and Hype for the one function.

Since Hype began they have performed in Darlinghurst, Kings Cross, at weddings in and around Sydney and at other venues in around Sydney including West’s leagues club, Bradbury Inn, The big marino (Camden) and many more.

Weddings:
Why walk down the isle with a CD player when you can have an acoustic duo playing? Hype will make your wedding stand out above the rest when you have live music while you sign the register. We can also go provide dinner/cocktail music when your guest arrive at the reception and are served their meals. Hype are dedicated musicians who will be happy to learn songs that are special to you for your special day.

Pubs/clubs:
Hype are an excellent option for pubs with a relaxed atmosphere. Having performed at a range of venues and for varied audiences we will cater our performance to suit your audience.
