Undeniably one of the nation's premiere live entertainers, SeanyB has cemented his position as one of Australia's pioneers & foremost authorities of the HipHouse genre. Championing the dance scene with his instantly recognisable voice, he has won no less than two ARIA awards, and APRA Award and went Double Platinum with “Flaunt It” (his collab with TV Rock) in Australia alone. Whether in his traditional stomping ground of the down n' dirty clublands, or fresh & clean for the general public, when SeanyB grabs the mic- he owns it! Earning his stripes by creating & spearheading the original Dirty Laundry (2003-06), Sean’s talent was bound by no formula. Whether over House, HipHop, Breaks or Electro- SeanyB dazzled partygoers around the country for 3 years as he carved his way thru the Aussie club scene by finding the true balance between the MC, the DJ, and, most importantly, the People!
His first entry into the official singles chart came together with his writing the lyrics & performing his low-slung vocals for his collaboration with TV Rock, FLAUNT IT. Somewhere between substance and style with a sense of humor and a hint of sarcasm, SeanyB's lyrics mixed with TV Rock's trademark beats proved to form a recipe for monumental success in the clubbing underground... but it didn't stay there for long. Entering the charts at #3, shooting to #1 with a bullet- smashing through to the top of the Australian Singles Chart for over 5 weeks, Flaunt It has now surpassed double-platinum sales, while it's hooks & catchphrases have become the indispensable lingo of club culture. Spending a record 26 weeks in the Top 10 ARIA SINGLES CHARTS and a staggering 65 weeks in the ARIA DANCE CHARTS- "FLAUNT IT," has etched it's way into Australian music history, bringing home 2 ARIA Awards for 2006 in the form of Best Dance Single & Highest Selling Australian Single. Its magic did not stop there, for the single also saw the boyz take home the APRA awards June 2007 for “Most Performed Dance Work”.
All dedicated to bringing dance floors to life with precision, poise and enough tomfoolery to get the party started no matter what the circumstance! It's just the beginning of a year filled with new collaborations and a dynamic solo project set to showcase the full breadth of the real SeanyB.
