The 50's & 60's Hits category gives you musicians who cover the popular hits from these decades. The 50's were known as the golden age of Rock 'n' Roll when teen idols flooded the radio. The 60's was the time of records, Protest Music, Motown and the British Invasion. Rock 'n' Roll was influenced by African-American blues, Country and Western music and Gospel. The musicians in this category cover the hits that were popular in the charts of the 50's and 60's.

Phil has been performing in bands – top 40, blues, rock and original – as lead guitarist and vocalist for over 20 years. More recently, he has moved into solo and duo performance with his repertoire consisting of great songs, impassioned delivery and tasteful guitar accompaniment. He has also taught guitar and bass as a professional tutor for over 15 years. He performs with conviction, professionalism, honesty and zeal.
