Michelle Rounds
Based in Sydney, NSW

Michelle first performed live in Sydney in 1989 as "Running Late" with Michael J Kenny on piano at The Harbour Zone nightclub, Bathurst Street Sydney. She formed her soul band "The Quiet Storm" in 1992 with Ara Nessasian (keys), Victor Rounds (bass) and Con Settineri (drums) playing a three month residency at The York Tavern, Sussex Street. All these gigs were soul/Latin. She was also working as female vocalist for "Satumbainda" (Latin) and lead vocalist for 3-piece "Hot Tamales" (Mississippi Delta Blues).

Since then the band has accompanied some of the best jazz performers available today - not only local talent - but also those who are celebrated worldwide including jazz legends George Washingmachine, Lynn Rogers, John Hoffman, Linda Weston, Clayton Davis, Melissa Western, Max Miller, Tom Nicolson, Dinah Williams, Willy Qua, Sandie White, Airstream, Ashley Lewis, and Australia's Queen of Jazz Singers, Ingrid James.


 
Bois et Charbon

Spicy and exuberant, Bois et Charbon play a contagious and fiery combination of timeless tunes suitable for any occasion. Formed in February 2007, they have performed at bars, restaurants and social functions to high acclaim. Sarah Dwyer is a jazz vocalist whose choice of music and penchant for period costume effortlessly transports her audience back to the clubs and dancehalls of the 1920’s to the 1940’s. Sarah’s voice simmers, as she toys with the well known melodies of traditional jazz standards. She is accompanied by Michael Brown, an accomplished guitarist who effortlessly infuses their timeless repertoire with a fresh and colourful sound. Blues Point has been a regular favourite on the jazz festival scene for 10 years. With an added bonus of hilarious MC George Washingmachine, Blues Point is perfect entertainment for any occasion.
Blues Point's intricate vocal arrangements are presented with a unique Australian flavour. The group excels in a concert setting, a cabaret presentation, or is great at a cocktail party. East Side Jazz Band
Based in Melbourne, VIC

The East Side Jazz Band is one of Victoria's most popular Jazz Bands. The band is made up of some of Melbourne's finest musicians. They can move from very laid back swing style (Sinatra, Ellington, Connick Jr., Armstrong) to Latin Rhythms, Blues (Ray Charles), and Funk styles. They can play as small as a trio with a guitarist who sings in a Sinatra style with a sax player who doubles on trumpet and clarinet and a double bass player who sings. If you want the bigger sound the band adds drums and more brass or other instruments as required.


 
The Hoochie Choochies
Based in Melbourne, VIC

Established in 2004 these four Blues/Jazz & Rat Pack style musicians play together as The Hoochie Choochies. They play Rat Pack Tunes and heartfelt Blues.
