A musical experience for pre school children. A Swag Full of Instruments is a performance for those child care centres pre schools and kindergartens who wish to expose their children to the sights and music of the Oud from the Middle East, the Didjeridu from Australia, the Bodhrain and Irish Bouzaki from Ireland, the Acoustic guitar from America, Classical Guitar from Spain, Bombarde from Brittany Djambe from Africa Lagerphone from Australia, the Flute, the Octave Mandolin from Italy, the Spoons from the Universal kitchen and the Hammer Dulcimer from China through dance, songs and movement.

This exciting, high-energy percussion and dance ensemble from Guinea, West Africa, is Melbourne’s newest African band. Muhanamwé, meaning "Culture”, was founded in 2007 by Guinean master drummer Aliou Sylla, with the vision of sharing the rich Guinean culture with the Australian people. Bringing together powerful rhythms, vocal harmonies and stunning moves, Muhanamwé brings to life the colourful and vibrant culture of Guinea, and a musical tradition that can be traced right back to the ancient Mandinké Empire of West Africa.

We have performed at private & public events, providing musical entertainment for functions ranging from weddings to dinner parties.
