70's Hits

The 70's Hits category has musicians that will play all the best ballads, rock, punk and pop songs of this decade. They will cover all your favourite chart-toppers of the 1970's- that you used to listen to on cassette-tape. These bands will entice you to resurrect all your best dance moves.

I currently perform solo accompanied by professional backing tracks in Midi format. My current repertoire consists of a variety of rock/pop classics from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. I currently perform covers by such great artists as: Australian: John Farnham, Crowded House, Dragon, Cold Chisel, Brian Cadd, Air Supply, Split Enz, Billy Thorpe. International: Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Elton John, Phil Collins, The Beatles, The Bee Gees, George Michael, Robbie Williams, Peter Gabriel etcI'm available for corporate venues, weddings, parties, private functions, and hotel/club bookings.

Nik Conomos is an original music artist who captivates his audience through his soulful singing voice. Ngahere Ngatai, also know as ‘Nuz’ from Decifa Dance Crew and Entertainment has been a performer all his life. Khan Ropati is full of life on and off stage which makes him so enjoyable to watch. Performing for many years now, he has become a crowd favourite with his infectious playful attitude making sure he gets the crowd involved to make them feel at home and feel part of the show.

Alegria is an exciting and versatile duo. Both lead singer Penny and vocalist, keyboardist and saxophonist Martin are consummate musicians and performers with years of experience. They can provide anything from smooth jazz and ballads to dynamic dance sets featuring a huge range of music from 50’s rock’n’roll through soul, funk, Motown, disco, 80’s, 90’s and the most recent pop hits. Add to this Martin’s experience in Spain and his repertoire of Latin dance songs, sung in fluent Spanish and Portuguese and you have a fantastic array of music that will keep everyone happy. Phil has been performing in bands – top 40, blues, rock and original – as lead guitarist and vocalist for over 20 years. More recently, he has moved into solo and duo performance with his repertoire consisting of great songs, impassioned delivery and tasteful guitar accompaniment. He has also taught guitar and bass as a professional tutor for over 15 years. He performs with conviction, professionalism, honesty and zeal.

Martin Cox is a highly versatile pianist/singer who is as comfortable playing soft jazz in a cocktail lounge as he is belting out soul, rock’n’roll or Latin dance songs (sung in fluent Spanish) with full backings on his keyboard. He has years of experience playing in restaurants, hotels, weddings, corporate functions and festivals here and in Spain and can read the audience like the palm of his hand. His enormous repertoire covers music from the 1920’s to now, encompassing jazz, pop, rock’n’roll, Latin, soul, Motown, folk, classical and his own songs and improvisations.
