Lionel Lee is the unrestrained chariot, the swerving vehicle for singer/songwriter Matthew E Baird’s meditations on the darker side of what some refer to as Southern Gothic or Gothic Country music. Matthew E Baird prefers to describe his laments as simply being: “tales of bitterness with just a dash of sweet sherry. However, no matter the titles or tags attached, it’s just good old fashioned story telling”.

Tash Anderson wrote her first song at the age of six and since then has developed a passion for composing and performing. She has been playing the piano ever since she was young and is self- taught. Tash was a member of many bands from a young age before branching out on her own.

The band formed in 1997 around a nucleus of English traditional musicians / singers who shared a desire to sing a principally English repertoire. Over the years this focus has widened to embrace various other music styles including a growing repertoire of irresistible original songs, including ‘Rag and Bone’, runner up in the 2004 MusicOz Songwriting Awards, ‘Johnny in the Morning’, runner up in the 2005 MusicOz Songwriting Awards, and ‘Tyburn Fayre’, winner of the 2005 Australian Association of Songwriters Award.

Acoustic trio Fly South are a musical adventure, that journey through several genres including folk, jazz and avant-pop. The group was founded mid-2006, with the goal of developing original compositions and contemporary standards in an acoustic setting. They have been compared to several artists including Billie Holiday, Jose Gonzales, and Bob Dylan. Each member has their own distinct style, along with a combined love of melody, harmony and the subtle art of ‘the song’.

The Reason consists of two of Melbourne's finest singer/guitarists, Derek Macpherson and Mark Taylor, who have now been working together for around three years. Their unique feel and professional attitude has won them many plaudits and led to corporate work and a residency at, according to The Age newspaper, one of Melbourne's best restaurants.

The acoustic duo Garland & Coster formed in 2001, and are comprised of Kelly Garland on vocals & Rohan Coster on guitar. Kelly's soaring vocal style has been influence by the likes of Kate Bush, Tori Amos & Loreena McKennitt, and she has been described as "the girl with the angelic voice". Rohan's brilliant finger picking complements Kelly's vocal talents. His experience in performance has allowed him the ability to easily adapt from heavy rock to jazz, blues to folk and acoustic pop. With Kelly's bell-like vocals together with Rohan's superb guitar playing, this duo make for a pleasant and entrancing listening experience.

The Beggars are an internationally acclaimed, but distinctly Australian, acoustic trio. Their unique blend of folk and country music with lashings of tasty vocal harmonies has quickly found an audience with music lovers far and wide. Their first single ‘Preacher I Have Sinned’ has appeared in national top 10 radio charts in the UK , Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, Belgium & Poland. The unique journey of life so far has enabled me to put pen to paper and write my own music so gradually started to mix my set lists with covers and originals. I write my music on my life stories so every song is a part of me and my journey of life so far. My favorite gigs are intimate bars and cafe’s with me playing guitar and harp and not a laptop or midi file in sight… How real is that... WMA write up 2006: "Brian lee Watson from NZ played a few of his originals and was a very smooth and confident performer. We were all impressed with his style and skills”.

I am a singer/songwriter and usually perform with one or 2 other musicians in acoustic venues, but I have been exposed to many genres and really consider myself a fully dimensional musician. I also play piano and have accompanied musicians in the past. I am 23, I was born in Hamburg, Germany, moved to Israel, then to Swaziland (southern Africa), back to Israel again, to Germany for the second time, back to Israel again, to Australia and then from there to L.A... Now I have returned to Melbourne, Australia to continue pursuing my music.
