Garland & Coster

The acoustic duo Garland & Coster formed in 2001, and are comprised of Kelly Garland on vocals & Rohan Coster on guitar. Kelly's soaring vocal style has been influence by the likes of Kate Bush, Tori Amos & Loreena McKennitt, and she has been described as "the girl with the angelic voice". Rohan's brilliant finger picking complements Kelly's vocal talents. His experience in performance has allowed him the ability to easily adapt from heavy rock to jazz, blues to folk and acoustic pop. I also play piano and have accompanied musicians in the past. I am 23, I was born in Hamburg, Germany, moved to Israel, then to Swaziland (southern Africa), back to Israel again, to Germany for the second time, back to Israel again, to Australia and then from there to L.A... Now I have returned to Melbourne, Australia to continue pursuing my music.

Since the late 60’s Phil has been at the forefront of this genre as well as exploring other styles widely. As a solo performer in the acoustic sphere, Phil has also been ahead of the game as one of the first electric gunslingers to begin working in both realms before ‘unplugged’ became the catch phrase. Alan Buckley plays Irish music as well as 50’s, 60’s and 70’s Pop and a bit of Country. He covers a number of rock/pop ballads as well as the classics by the Beatles and Jon Denver. He also has an extensive repertoire of Irish Folk songs, ensuring a great night of entertainment!
For 23 years Alan played with the Brandywine Bridge band, performing at the medieval Warwick Castle in England. He has played solo, in groups, written shows, has performed children history shows and has also appeared on TV in the UK.
